About me

My name is Siyuan Liu. I’m currently working as a Research Engineer at the National Supercomputing Centre (NSCC) Singapore. I graduated from Nanyang Technological University summa cum laude in 2018 with a degree in Computer Science. This blog is a place for me to share all kinds of stuff related to computer. Sometimes I also share my thoughts on things like study, knowledge management, etc.

At work, my job consists a mix of system operations, code optimization, and student mentoring. I’m currently an advisor of the NTU student cluster competition team, the only student team in Singapore actively participating in student cluster competitions.

During my time at NTU, I was the president of NTU Open Source Society and the team leader of the NTU student cluster competition team. In 2017, I led the team to won the Deep Learning Excellence Award at ISC17 and both Overall Champion and Highest LINPACK Award at SC17. I’m also the recipient of the Lee Kuan Yew Gold Medal when I graduated.
